Long lead times, high inventory levels, unexpected downtimes, and quality fluctuations are only a few of the familiar situations that are to be avoided when it comes to Lean Manufacturing.

In order for the Lean ideas to penetrate the manufacturing environment of your organization, it is paramount to focus on the essentials of your business, i.e. the value creation processes. In doing so, waste can be minimized, transparency increased, and pull-system principles introduced.
